About this cartoon: Guns are quite easily had in our society, with unpleasant side effects such as the number of mass shootings, as defined by shootings numbering in the hundreds in 2015. Abortion, also upheld as a right of Americans, faces increasing restrictions, obstacles and hoops to jump through in many states (generally Republican states). If gun ownership was subject to the same set of roadblocks as abortion, the gun picture in the U.S. might look quite different.
